PixelWatts saves your rides and preferences on your iPhone. No PixelWatts account is required. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics.

Your rides and preferences

PixelWatts stores your workout plans, ride history, settings, and cycling measurements such as power, heart rate, cadence, distance, and duration. You may also provide weight and FTP to personalize your training. Completed rides can be included in normal iPhone backups, managed by Apple according to your device and account settings.

Apple Health and Apple Watch

With your permission, PixelWatts reads indoor cycling workouts and saves completed rides and their measurements to Apple Health. You can also choose to read or save weight and FTP. Optional Apple Watch support provides heart rate and ride cues. You control Health permissions in Apple's settings. Live Activities can display ride information on your Lock Screen.

Optional connections and sharing

If you connect Strava or Intervals.icu, PixelWatts exchanges account and training information with that service to import workouts or send rides you choose. Requested transfers may retry while the original account remains connected. These services receive the data you send and normal connection information, such as your IP address, under their own privacy practices.

You can pair two iPhones to transfer completed workouts between them. The receiving phone may save those workouts to its own Apple Health store with permission. Bluetooth connects your cycling equipment and supports paired-phone transfers. Camera permission is optional for scanning a pairing code; you can enter the code manually.

You choose when to share ride files or diagnostic reports. Recipients and the apps or services you use to share them may retain their own copies.

Diagnostics, beta testing, and support

PixelWatts keeps recent technical diagnostics on your device to help investigate problems. Reports may include device information, connection events, errors, and timing details. Review a report before sharing it. Diagnostic reports are not uploaded automatically.

Apple operates TestFlight and may provide the developer with testing information, crash reports, and feedback under Apple's terms. Screenshots or attachments you choose to send may contain information from your screen or rides. Support communications are used to respond to your request and investigate reported problems.

Retention and your choices

Your rides remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete a ride locally or also request removal of the copy PixelWatts saved to Apple Health. Health deletion can remain pending when access is unavailable. You can clear diagnostic history in Settings; storage issues may delay cleanup.

Local deletion or disconnection does not remove activities from Strava or Intervals.icu, copies on a paired iPhone, exported files, or device backups. A transfer already in progress may still complete. Manage those copies at their destinations. To remove stored connection credentials, disconnect services and unpair devices before removing the app.

This website

This site remembers your language and appearance during your browsing session and uses no advertising or analytics scripts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes under its Privacy Statement.
